Rajya Charukala Parshad is a wing under the Information & Cultural Affairs Department of the Government of West Bengal, engaged in various activities and developmental Projects of visual art. Parshad undertakes various developmental projects and schemes under the guidance of eminent artist members who are attached as advisers. We are proud to mention here that Chief Minister of West Bengal, Smt Mamata Bandyopadhyay, who is also a painter herself, takes special interest in Fine Arts & painting giving much encouragement to all sectors of art activities of the State. We hope that incourse of time Rajya Charukala Parshad will be able to undertake substantial work in the field of fine arts, in a bigger scale for its development.
